Founded in early 2004, Hahana Stone Massage has quickly become Australia's leading supplier of Hot Stone Massage (Stone Therapy) products to the Spa, Beauty and Massage industries. Commitment to supplying high quality, competitively priced Stone Therapy products and training is our mission at Hahana Stone Massage.
The stones (basalt and marble) that we supply are internationally sourced, and either naturally smoothed, or carved. They are hand-picked and symmetrically paired, not just generic, mass-produced sets. Our natural stones have been sorted and screened by trained professionals a minimum of three to four times. This ensures that the stones you receive are only those that are suitable shapes, sizes and textures for use in Stone Therapy treatments. Our carved stones are also carefully screened to ensure that they are free of any defects, and are designed for ergonomic use.
Our hot stones (both natural and carved) are volcanic basalt (grey/black). Chosen for their specific mineral make-up, they are the ideal stone to use for Hot Stone Massage. Basalt is high in iron and magnesium, as well as being very dense, meaning that it will hold heat for much longer than other types of stone. It is also the original type of stone that Mary Nelson (the modern-day originator of Stone Therapy) channelled as the ideal stone to use for Hot Stone Massage.
Marble is well-know for its ability to retain cold and also works well to absorb heat from the body. We have been lucky enough to source a naturally formed and smoothed marble from Peru (Peruvian Marble), and also offer budget-priced, carved marble cold stones.
Hahana Stone Massage is currently offered in over 150 Spas, Salons and Massage Clinics through-out Australia, and as far reaching as Ireland, New Zealand, Fiji and Singapore.
